I know I haven't posted in a long time, but I figured this was a good reason to do so. Nine years ago, though I can hardly believe it was that long, I was in a portable classroom at Central Park Elementary School. It was Mrs. Christensen's room, the last one in the front row of portables. I don't specifically remember the work I was doing or who I was sitting with or even who I was talking to. All I know was another teacher came into the room and pulled Mrs. Christensen off to the corner by the door. They whispered for a long time. Long enough for us to know something was going on. When our teacher finished speaking to the other she told us

Best. Con. Ever. Or at least so far. I mean Dragon*Con was awesome and all but this one hit a more personal level of win. First of all I went up to Perform Repo! up there with Midnight Cinema. We had been preparing and getting closest to screen actuate as we could manage. I went up Friday, even though Thursday we had a rehersal. I had classes but hey, you do what you have to do. I got up there and dressed out as a Gentern and went around premoting the show as we needed to. Sold prop bags and everything. Got time for the show and we headed in to set up. So.... things have gotten awesome. No lie. I got my drivers liscence a couple days ago. Which is really pretty brilliant. Drove to McDonalds first and yesterday to Rachel's house to hang out and work on some stuff for TARDIS party since... we've been filming and taking pictures bit not actually doing anything. I succeeded in finishing my baby. Which is a music video to Gallifreyan History 101 with Five and Ainley. Me being Ainley, Rachel being Five.
